Open Access Policy

The International Journal of Advanced Research in Humanities and Law (IJREL) is a fully open-access, peer-reviewed journal committed to making scholarly research freely and widely accessible to researchers, academics, students, practitioners, and the public.

All articles published by IJREL are made freely available online without subscription or access charges.

Free and Immediate Access

Readers can access, read, download, and share published articles without paying subscription or article access fees.

Open access to the journal's content supports the broad dissemination of scholarly research and facilitates international academic communication and collaboration.

Open Access License

Articles published by IJREL are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

This license permits users to:

  • Share and redistribute published material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the published material.

  • Use the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

Users must provide appropriate attribution to the original author(s) and publication, include a link to the license, and indicate whether changes were made.

Author Rights

Authors retain copyright of their published work in accordance with the journal's copyright policy.

Authors are permitted and encouraged to share their published articles through personal academic websites, institutional repositories, and other appropriate scholarly platforms, provided that the original publication is properly acknowledged and the DOI is retained where applicable.

Article Processing Charge

As an open-access journal, IJREL charges an Article Processing Charge (APC)  for accepted manuscripts.

The APC is payable only after manuscript acceptance. Authors are not required to pay any APC at the time of submission or during the peer-review process.

Following acceptance, the corresponding author will receive payment instructions through the journal's official editorial email.

The APC does not include VAT or other applicable local taxes, where such taxes are legally required.

Payment of an APC does not influence the editorial decision or guarantee acceptance. Manuscripts are evaluated through the journal's editorial and peer-review process before any publication charge becomes payable.

No Subscription or Access Fees

IJREL does not charge readers subscription fees or access fees for its published articles.

The journal's open-access model is designed to ensure that published research is freely available to the global scholarly community.

Long-Term Accessibility

IJREL supports the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content through recognized digital preservation services, including CLOCKSS, LOCKSS, and the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).

Published articles are also assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to support persistent identification, citation, and scholarly discovery.
